People from the Taunton area have come out in support of our injured heroes by bearing all for a semi-nude calendar. 22 staff and regulars at the Crown & Sceptre put their fears aside and modelled topless in various poses around the establishment.

Landlords from the Crown & Sceptre, Roger & Gwen Jones, decided to produce the calendar in support of Help for Heroes following several news stories about local military personnel being injured in conflicts around the world.

Over a period of less than 2 weeks volunteers came forward and were photographed for the calendar. The level of support was beyond expectation and meant that some people had to be turned away.

It’s fair to say that all the models was nervous about taking their clothes off, but despite this everyone turned up for their photos shoot and afterwards commented how liberating the experience was.
